I think it is time to get rid of this as I never play it. I also have a modded PSP phat that I never play, but I'm hanging on to that for movie playback. When I do get a (rare) free moment for classic gaming, it is now done on my Wii via Homebrew Channel.

Up for sale is a GP2X 1st Edition. It has a few issues which I'll fully disclose so there are no surprises. Also includes the "official" case, TV out, and AC Adapter.

Unit itself is in fairly good condition, with a few minor knicks on the screen. I just cleaned it and it looks way better than I remembered. The joystick has the usual issues but it is very workable. I have a later version of the stick cap if that matters. The headphone jack did break and fell out, so that is gone. There is also some issue with the batteries: sometimes it doesn't make a good connection, and thinks they are dead. Usually take them out and re-insert, and the problem is solved, I can game for an hour and they won't die; the problem only occurs during initial startup. Once it's running, it is fine. It might be a matter of simply bending the metal prongs that clamp the batteries, as they feel fairly loose right now. I'll double check that and update. Other than that everything works as it should. I haven't overclocked in a long time, but I remember it being average in that area. It has firmware 2.0 because I never felt the need to upgrade.

You supply your own SD card, but I will include a DVD (if you want) with preconfigured emulators as well as a bunch of roms.

Asking $50 plus shipping, USA only unless you want to pay a lot more for shipping.

Please email me at locustfist58 at yahoo.com for further. I will try and post some pictures when I find my camera, which is currently hiding in the garage somewhere.

You can get these in mint condition for less than that. Unfortunately, they have not retained any value. With all the problems this has, I would be surprised if you got 25 for it (if you included an sd card).

I was unaware of that, thanks for filling me in. I suppose I'll keep it and let my 4 year old son play it (he loves Capcom's Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness for CPS2). If he breaks it, no big loss I guess. Thanks!

@Cristo - Show me where you can get an F100 for $50 US. Ebay sales typically end up at $90 or greater. I know first-hand, I spent a couple of weeks shopping for one a few months back. The only unit I saw that went for $50, which I bought "buy now", was defective with battery-drainage issues (MUCH to my dismay).

I was watching them earlier this year (late winter-spring) and they were going for around 50 in great condition with an sd card. It could have been that the market was flooded with them at the time due to the wiz coming out and people were selling their GP2X for a Wiz.
