What are you playing this weekend/these days?

How's the music?
It's great, just like the graphics it's updated to modern standards but keeps the style of the original. Some tracks are from the original composer, others from other composers but you can't really tell them apart.

I wished that "Mr. X Nightmare" soundtrack could be used for the main game but there is no option
That is the really superb new soundtrack for me

Just finished Wolfenstein The Old Blood, the prequel to New Colossus. It's more of the same, but there's a bit less variety in enemies and environments.

After i did discover on tuesday how this XBOX Series X Gamestreaming Feature works, using the AYN Thor Pro whit the XBXPlay App, and did install a few more games like GTA5 and other stuff, i did test play some of my XBOX Games later this day, even managed to win the fight vs mercer in the Mainquest of Fable 1, did work quite good whit Streamplay..

Yesterday i did first test this "Directors" Mode in GTA5, did enter this Army Fort, and whitouth these anoying stuff like "Prohibited Areas", i finally got one of these cool Fighterjets to fly around ^^

Then i did start Forza Horizon 6, this Openworld Racing Simulation thingy on XBOX Series X which is quite hyped these days, and yes its quite some fun, even though im not that good yet in Simulator Racing, but its allready looks nice, and its entertaining..

Then i did continue Outbound on the Switch2, where i did discover the first map a bit more, and did gather some more stuff and Blueprints

And between this i did continue whit the Dusklight - The Legend of Zelda Twillight Princess Android Port on the AYN Thor: while Nintendo will bring next week an Direkt on the Okarina of Time Remake while the Fans where waiting still for an TP Port on Switch2, some did just Reverse Enginered the Engine to bring it to the PC and Android whit a few Quality of Life Features
Im still at the beginning but Link is now an wolf, and did came back to the Ordon Village after he did flee whit Midna from this Prison/Dark Hyrule Castle..

In the past you could stream directly via your Xbox Series X to your phone. If I remember correctly now it uses some cloud service.
Sure it nice to have a single app to either play cloud games or stream, but if I can I prefer to skip the cloud part (as those services can disappear after a while). But, I might be remembering incorrect, at least the last time the app I used didnt work anymore.

I'm probably the last person around still playing regularly on a bright tribal GBA SP, but here I am another rainy Friday night playing Doom, Ecks vs Sever 2 and Konami Krazy Racers.
And I am in my 6th decade by now, but GBA - why not? ;)
Main reason is probably because I like the SP handling still so much. Screen and battery still fine after almost 20 years, even the - yuck - tribal logo.
Happy weekend everyone!

Clamshell design is just nice. And the SP is the right size, not too big and not too small, combined with the GBA catalog of games. Doom on the GBA is also a nice feature.
Did you ever try Tomb Raider? You need to have a flashcart of some sorts to make that work though.

I might had written my post a bit wrong: I don't use the Streaming Feature from the XBOX Server which is included in Gamepass (30 €per Month is too expensive for me), im using the "Remote Gaming Feature", means the Game Runs on my XBOX Locally, and its Picture gets send to my AYN Thor, while the Controlls are Send from Thor to XBOX, this way I don't have to be in the same room..

So yesterday I did start finally the Gothic Remake: not on Thor per Remote, but on the Actually TV, : the Intro is a bit modernicided and the German Voice of our Nameless Hero is the same but a bit different as he was getting older the last 25 years.. I did talk whit Diego, (who got an different Voice Actor), did clean up the secret plateau when you are climbing the mountains on the side of this old mine entry on the way to the old camp from the exchange station.. was actually not that easy, but its already fun, now im on the old camp, but did not spoke whit any of the NPCs, as yesterday was a bit too late..

I was talking about streaming locally from your own Xbox to your handheld. In the past you could use the Xbox-app on your iPhone, now you have to use your webbrowser. Not sure if there is some cloud component involved or they just use the same solution for both local and cloud streaming. On the PC you can still use the Xbox app for streaming I think.

Im using the Xbxplay App which is an thirth Party Streaming App for Android, but yes there is on Windows11 Systems also an allready build In Xbox App.. but the Thor got the big advantage that I could use the bottom screen to open an Browser whit an Walkthrough Page, but for now I still have enough memories from the Old Game, today I went whit Mortrag to the new camp, did save me the XP as he did kill all the monsters on the way there, did receive the gratis buddler pants from the new mine, and did learn the acrobatics skill there as well..

Played the Demo of RetroSpace. It's inspired by System Shock 2 (checks out) and Prey 2017 (lofty target, I need the full version to make up my mind, can't see this coming close). Release will be this year.

And the Demo of Tower of Mask. A Dungeon Crawler that has tile-based movement but FPS-like aiming. Full version is available.

Off and on playing Gothc II with Night of the Raven add-on. The latter makes the game quite a bit more difficult. That is my fourth playthrough I think. Guess I'll get the remake of part one when it's discounted.
Two of the original Gothic development team, Mr and Mrs Pankratz, made a dungeon game called Cralon, but sadly it's quite bad. There's also a demo available for those who are curious.
