SETI - Why look for Alien life when the odds are they have found us

Great, so not only are there aliens, but they consort with Israelis. Darn it, Palestinians have it hard enough already.

Joined the "Gesellschaft zur Erforschung des UFO-Phänomens" i.e. "UFO Phenomenon Research Society" - in short GEP - a few weeks ago. In my letterbox I was delighted to find, among a bunch of interesting reading material, a small plastic bag with an actual meteor fragment attached to a thank-you-card. Owning a legit space rock makes me feel elated. Such an unexpectedly beautiful gift, I almost cried.

https://www.metabunk.org/home/ is a very interesting forum for people interested in UAP stuff.

BTW if you're interested in the field, give this a YT-search: "EBANI". Made my day.

I ran this SETI application on my computer for years a long long time ago. Later there was a similar application, but for folding DNA strands or something; to help with cancer research.
And there was some application for manually classifying star systems based on photos.

I don't think anything really came from any of those things, but still fun to join.
