Well, yes, that's part of the plan. I've no idea how good it will turn out because in theory GB-games could demand bit-per-bit transmission (which would be pretty slow), but I guess quite a few games would run nicely.
you can grab mooBoy, a Gameboy (Color) emulator I've been working on for quite a while now from the repo.
I've developed this from scratch, so it is nowhere near as advanced as VBA or gnuboy, but it performs pretty nicely for most games.
It features everything you would expect...
Realised the version in the repo was a bit outdated compared to my local.
So, here's a little update featuring smooth transitions, antialised fonts and notaz SDL.
Just uploaded a new version to the repo: http://repo.openpand...p=sqrisland.mrz
For the next rush of levels (featuring the new falling platforms and a new type of enemy) I really need feedback regarding the difficulty. Did someone manage to complete the game yet? If not, how far...
The save/load thing works a bit different here. Saving only happens when you enter a level, so if you have to quit playing you can continue from there and don't have to restart. If you lose all lifes you have to begin from the start again.
Well, I guess I will overthink this a...
Thanks for your nice words!
Yep, fixed that already. :)
For the creation of more levels I would be really grateful for comments on the difficulty of the current ones. Too hard, too easy? I will also make sure to include some more gameplay elements in future versions, a sprint option would...
So, little update here:
Nearly everything is done, I will focus on mapping and music/sounds the last days. Also, I changed the name of the game from its working-title to "Sqr.Island".
If someone wants to betatest or help with the maps/looking for audio, PM me.
Choppy video below, of course...

Hello all together,
I am currently working on a Jump'N'Run for the Pandora Rebirth Competition and am therefor searching for someone for the art side of the project.
Below is a small video I recorded, just showing all the stuff the engine can...
Thanks. Can you recall what exactly happened? I have cleared around 150 lines without experiencing a crash, it's unlikly that I'll be able to fix it if the bug isn't reproduceable.
But I have found that:
That's a quote from 2010 and the code used for this port is from 2007 so is it...

2H4U, which stands for Too Hard For You, is an open source game, and a mix between a Tetris-like game and a wall breaker. It requires good reflexes, coordination, and ambidexters should have some advantages. Will 2H4U...
Thanks for the feedback we received for Shootet so far. I am glad you like it.
If you have any ideas, suggestions or harsh criticisms, please let me/us know.
Yep, I think we'll extend the 'HowTo' screens a bit.
Also, here is a new little video...
Hello out there!
Whilst the final days of the competition are fading away, BLACKALiCE is working on the graphics and I still have many things I'd like to polish, it turns out that someone who is willing to do the mapping would be a great help. It isn't a hard job - just needs time and love. As...
I have uploaded alpha builds for windows, linux and the pandora. See the OP for more info.
Again: I am mainly searching for a gfx - artist to give this a better look. If someone is intressted feel free to mess around with the data files. I have no special requirements for high quality, it just...
