    Report from Ohio Linux Fest

Hi, one advantage of the pandora / pyra is the 'trusted' hard & software. Security is an issue today and for the future. No Google, Apple, MS or other spyware. Maybe this can attract some attention, too ... Greetings

    Battery Life compromise.

oh sorry, I meant  a parallel circuit ... can someone test the possibility ? greetings

    Battery Life compromise.

Hi, for me battery long-time support is crucial. Ed's argument to use the same battery for p2 is good news, because this means p1 will be supported with battaries for more then 3 years. So - as a naive user - why not pack two p1-batteries in a case, where their power will be combined to a big...

    Logo Discussion

Hi, maybe I am wrong, but I wonder which label would you like to establish on the long run ? dragonbox or pyra. Its like sony and xperia. I think dragonbox is more important and should be emphasized. So when the 3rd generation of handhelds will come out, there will be some brand recognition...

    Some more of my ideas

What a nice location for screen-testing ;-) The decrease of brightness from CC-screens to the new ones was the reason I mentioned it. No one  wants the Lego-holes on the buttom ? So you can fix some accessories with a handful of Lego-bricks ? What a pity ... Greetings

    Some more of my ideas

hi, in my opinion p1's main weak point is the hinge. I own a sony tablet p  http://gatherall.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/tabletp.jpg and after two years of daily usage the hinge is sturdy as on the first day - only the battary sucks ;-) I would prefer a screen with enough brightness to look...

Haiku Commander - A norton commander clone - Anyone interested?

Hi commander-beef, If I could make a wish, I would like to have something like TotalCommander (http://www.ghisler.com). I 'grew up' with nc and I use totalcommander on every platform exept linux (even win31), because for me it's the natural way handling files on a system. Yes, mc is ok, but cli...

    QuoVadis versus Pandora?

Hi Pat, There is one flaw of your approach: Android isn't supported. What about using Python instead of C ? I did some research and found, that Python and PySide (Qt) would run best on most platforms - including Android. Greetings

    QuoVadis versus Pandora?

hi pat, I use both. the google-calendar is for syncing all appointments on all devices (pc, laptops, tablet, mobile phone and pandora) via thunderbird and outlook. Then I record the events and the outcome in my daily planner on paper. thats my archive, too. contacts, notes and todo's are...

Efficient Agenda and Organizer for the Pandora ?

Hi, open access was just an example - no need to copy it. the idea behind is a common surface, common interfaces for applications (ie. text in wordprocessor can be filled with records from database, notes etc.) and common usability (menus, etc.). But what about version 2 of ncurses PIM ...

Efficient Agenda and Organizer for the Pandora ?

Hi patrick295767 ! Thanks for the info. So Version 3 indicates, that there are two versions available. Why not providing/selling them now - as an appetizer :-) . I was a fan of SPI's OpenAcess - a database with wordprocessor, PIM and more. No GUI - just plain Dos-console  (until Version IV)...
