    Her Knights

I haven't actually played the demo, but I can tell you that the actual game is stupidly difficult. I'd never have gotten anywhere on it, had I not accidentally locked myself out the house one day with nothing but my GP32! I thought the combat seemed a bit slow when I first played it too, but it...

    Gpmagazine Collector's Edition

Oh good thinking, mine's probably PAL. That would certainly make it seem slower, although wouldn't my version on the NES have been PAL too? Edit: Nah, don't worry, I just had a game of Mario and it certainly didn't seem too slow at all, I must have been on some kind of sugar rush last time I...

    Gpmagazine Collector's Edition

Oh right! No problems, the one I have is 0.4, but I've had that an awful long time now (actually lost my GP32 for months). Super Mario Bros actually seems a little bit slow to me, did you do anything to speed it up? I'm on an original non-lit GP32, could it be anything to do with that? That...

    Worried About Build Quality!

Sure you can! I just pulled the grey plastic around the screen off with a flat-bladed watchmaker's screwdriver, dipped the screen protector in some rubbing alcohol and gave it a damn good scrubbing! Kept me up most of the night, but it worked a treat, and that's the only thing I've ever done to...

    Gpmagazine Collector's Edition

I'm definitely up for this, just because the preview page told me LittleJohn 0.5 was out. I'll get one as soon as I'm paid :D EDIT: that said, I can't find it anywhere! Was your review about LittleJohn on palmpilots?

Smcs Survive Sledgehammer Smashing & Nailing

So was I! I daren't even leave one out on my desk without putting it back in its plastic sleeve. I think I can afford to be a little more careful now, I don't think I'd ever accidentally nail it to a tree!

It is, but I've got one of the older series so it's actually more fun than useful. Great to just scribble and see what words it comes up with. I mainly use it for drawing childish pictures and waking myself up in the morning. That thing makes a mean alarm clock!

    GP32 Screen: Scratched!

I noticed mine was very scratched looking today, so I put some window cleaner on it and rubbed away and uhoh... it got worse. So I kept rubbing, and it got worse and worse and worse until it looked like the screen had started to decompose or something. Then I realised what I was actually doing...

Taras, what is that thingy there? I quite fancy one of those. I bought myself an Apple Newton a while back, in the hopes I could get a keyboard for it and never did. That thing you've got there looks perfect!

    BIG UK Coverage!

b3ta.com, a very good (one of my personal favourite sites) and popular British website, has given the GP32 coverage in their latest newsletter! They wrote: THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO W00T World's most powerful handheld games machine We've spent the last two days playing with a GamePark32 -...

    Anti-Reflective Screen Coating?

I took it off the second I took the GP32 out the box, but I've still got it around - I always use it when I take the GP32 out in packaging - I don't have the official carry case yet.

    MoviePark

I will do, but there might be a problem with that..! I've got an AVI file that won't encode because it's still an ASF apparently. It must use ASF compression or something. Pity - because it's my favourite animation ever and the only version I have that isn't a PC video is on DVD, and ripping...

    Is this possible???

Mmm, I'd like to do that! A nice matte racing green.... that'd look good with the default and red joystick.

    Doom WIP?

I prefer Doom to Quake actually, it's much more satisying to play and it's much more nostalgic. Nethertheless, they're both incredible games and no 3D shooters now can touch on how good they were when you first played them.

The swine! I can't do ASF files either!
