What Will Be Released At Gbax?

Here's a guess list (no pressure/expectation on the devs, of course):

Beats of Rage Beta 5 - Squidge
fGen32 - Rlyeh
Little John GP32 v0.5 (merged NES, GBC, SNES) - YoyoFr, ThunderZ, Laxer3a
GPChess (updated version) - rcx21000
Zot!GP - skeezix
Gigas Engine - Pirotic
GPFinalWar Beta 4 - mATkEUpON, Octavious, whoever else I forgot...
Xigon One - emuman
PerfectFit, GPSquares - Akuma no Houkon
WMA/MP3 Player - omega5
GPMadMP3 - Robert_John_Shepherd
YAFL 0.4 - woogal
KoF91 v1.5 - rtb7

Plus some assorted Doom WADs, BOR mods, techdemos...hopefully a few suprises, too!

i thought thunderZ stopped doing it and didn't release the source because somone put like a private version on the internet before it was done

After the 15day compo?? I thought he was still working on it... (Funny, well, kind of, but my thesis for Fahrenheit 451 is that Ray Bradbury uses pauses (ellipses, the three dots if you're don't klnow what ellipses are:D ) and a sense of a fade in his words to foreshadow a big event about to occurr, which usually occurrs within the next three pages.)

That was last year; about 14 months ago now. He's since picked it up again, as you can see from its entry into the "Another 15 days" compo and the one before that...

No GPChess (probably). But I might try a 3rd attempt at Liero

yes Leiro! you would get my vote if you managed a nice version of that with a vast array of weapons dude!

i must be one of only a handful of chaps that has got your old version on my gp32 :)

Sorry, I dont do competitions. However you will see 2 new (full) games from me within the next couple weeks, and possibly updates to GPSquares and PerfectFit (sound for both and possibly 2 player for GPSquares) arround that time too, although none of them will be entered into a competition. I make these games for fun, and to give everyone something fun to play on their GP32, I dont do it for prizes. Its prize enough for me to see my games listed on your "Top Games" lists or even on a theorectical list for competition entires.

(although donations are always welcome)

Hey RockOut, your site has a Puzzle/Other catagory in your download section, with no games in it! (hint hint)

i'm not entering the comp either, one of the judges has a personal grudge against me so even if i submitted a full speed port of Half Life 2 he'd make sure i didnt win anything, not that im bitter ;)

Or a CPS emu which supports roms >8M? With Qsound? Ha ha ha. Are you still standing by that claim? Even after your newbe questions in the dev section?

well, you got second in my mind pirotic
we got first with finalwar though

lol

anyways, yes, we plan to release GPFinalWar, dont know if it will be called beta 4, but there is something being planned for the compo. And, we have done a lot since the last public release, but I can't tell any of yall, but you should love it, and it should be completely debugged by then

also, is there any where that will host a big RAR or ZIP of every entry for the gp32?
I would love to have them all

~Octavious

now now craig.....
pirotic is puttin out soething monumental to the gp32
now, many new games, rpg's which are the gp32's week point , could come out

I will try to host a large zip file of every GBAX competition release or most of them on GP32 Universe. But, I may have to do it in two installments instead of one big file. It will them make it easier on my bandwidth. :D

Unless you have a lot of bandwidth, I wouldnt make a big package, half of the stuff going in is probably going to be tech demos, or incomplete games or even just games that only their author could love. Stuff which really wont be of any use to a lot of people. I would just list them individually and let people download them one at a time. Then you only use the bandwidth for what people want to download. Its not that hard to click on a couple extra links.

Craig, being a Judge you need to be entirely impartial, making comments like that could make people think anything about GBAX2004, yeah?

the funny thing is, i was actually referring to one of the other judges.

so nice one Craig, real classy - seeing as your probably making more money from the GP32 scene than any of the coders, shouldn't you be a little more respectful?
