is there any add on's in development that will replace the need for 2 AA bateries and insteand have a recharagable battery in there? i ask cause it is the best thing i bought for my gba , when they came out.

also does the GP32 come with any media?

There aren't any that I know of. You can buy rechargeable batteries at, like RadioShack or someplace like that, but I'm pretty sure you need to buy seperate rechargers for them. ;)

There is no pack like that, but believe me it's not needed. Just get some high capacity rechargeable AA's. They work fantastically for me, I get many hours per charge. I also bought a nice combination multi-voltage AC adapter and 4 AA battery recharger. It goes perfectly with GP32.

I also have a GBA SP, and I love the li-ion battery. But using rechargeable AA's for GP32 is just as good overall, if not better in some ways (i.e. in an emergency you can always use normal AA's).

Also, no media comes with GP32. You must buy smartmedia cards seperately. Newegg.com has them very cheap for example, only $22 for Samsung 128MB - that's the biggest you can get.

i use the rechargables meant for the gba/gbc by pelican, works perfect... just cant close the battery cover

Man! That would really do my head in! If I had to stop playing while my GP32 recharged! I prefer being able to just swap the dead set of batteries for the recharged set, that way I always have a charged set and dont have to wait for my GP32 to charge again. By using internal rechargables, you're basically restricting yourself to a single set... No good for me anyway :D

You know, I always thought those official "rechargeable" packs were akin to buying Dasani water.
Why? Because when you buy Dasani water, you buy something which could be gotten by turning on the tap; it's not even spring water and there are no good minerals in it as they are all filtered out by the Coca-Cola Company.
When you buy Dasani water, you are buying a cheap product at an over-inflated price and are helping fill Coca-Cola's over-inflated company pockets by doing so. ;)

When you buy a rechargeable battery pack for your GBA, you are buying a product which could be gotten cheaper at Radioshack. You will never be able to use those official "batteries" on anything but your GBA, and you're helping to fill Nintendo's company pockets by doing so. Now, really, why do you think those "warning" pages that come with your GBA warn you against using "unofficial" rechargeable batteries in your system?

Well, that's my little rant. Now you all know why I don't drink Dasani water or use official rechargeable packs. ;)

P.S. If you don't believe what I say about Dasani water, visit this webpage: http://www.nomad.ca/~loki/DASANI/
That product can be hazardous to your health. <_<

I'm a Dr. Pepper fan, myself.

The Radio Shack near my house was selling rechargable AA batteries for .99 each. I think the charger was $5, and it charges 4 batteries at a time, and takes about 12 hours to fully charge all four. The charger has an adapter for AAA batteries as well, which I use for my Palm Pilot.

I get approximately 10 hours of usage out of my AA rechargables -- for me, that's about a week in my gp32. The charger kicks off when the batteries are fully charged, so when my GP starts acting funky, I swap a pair out. Pretty simple stuff.
