Sega Saturn

I think you can be pretty sure the answer is no. There aren't even any decent Saturn emulators for the PC about (as far as I know).

let's just keep it at 16 bit systems for now... :)

The comment about Sega Saturn emulators on PC running at around 10fps is untrue.

Girigiri Saturn (NOT Girigiri Project) on a 2ghz or above can play most games at full speed. Only problem being it's a hacked commercial japanese emulator from Sega so i'm not going to tell you where you can get it.

Girigiri started my obsession with Radiant Silvergun.

...But anyway, Saturn emulation on a GP32 would be completely absurd. ^_^ I sincerely doubt it'll happen.

girigiri was quite good once I finally got it to work.

Puzzle fighter 2 works perfectly and Guardian heroes is pretty good apart from an occasional glitch

I didn't buy any commercial one, and I don't have a 2 GHz processor (only 1.4 GHz). So I maintain what I said.
I know this one, but I've heard it does not emulate many games (not sure about this). Furthermore it has been discontinued, and it is in an asian language. So I am still waiting for an interesting alternative: satourne, ssf or saturnin when it will be good enough to emulate my games. What a pity that my Saturn is broken :(

Saturn emulation isn't impossible.

It's already been done at almost 100% on PC, but with high spec requirements, and an incredibly hard to configure emulator. (2ghz Min)

I'm glad i've still got my saturn. Guardian Heroes, Radiant Silvergun, Dragon Force, Burning Rangers, Sega Touring Car Championship, and the great Soukyugurentai.

All amazing games.

even the xbox people think saturn emulation is impossible

Yeah but the stuff going on on the xbox is pretty amazing. I got mine hacked with a 120gig hd and never used a mod chip. It can acctually play n64 games alright and there is a psx emulator for it which I havn't tried. It's amazing that it can emulate systems that are one generation behind but since it's tough to emulate saturn on the pc I'm not holding my breath for it on the xbox.

not 2 long ago there was a topic on playstation emulation. if this is possible, would the gp32 be able 2 handle sega saturn emulation?
No way. The Saturn had 2x Hitachi SH-2 RISC CPUs @ 30MHz each, with an SH-1 @ 20 MHz (the infamous 'SVP' chip in Virtua Racing, and the Model 1 architecture), on top of whatever sound hardware it had. The GP32 @ 166MHz wouldn't stand a chance of emulating that.
