Freeciv For Palmos

Still hoping for Colonization, but there's even less chance of that! It was only on PC & Amiga, anyone know if it was released for the Atari ST, then CaSTaway could help... (Couldn't that run Civ?)

the snes version fits the gp ruther well, but it has two nagging issues:
1. 'retranslated' engrish - from the japanese version
2. no civilopedia (you can check units and buildings at the city menu, but that's it)

i second the notion to port freeciv!

Colonization would be friggin' awesome :) but I think the source code is owned by Atari :(

Still it would be an interesting one for someone to do like how Aquafish did Advance Wars etc....

It ran on my old 386 like a dream :)

Yeah I used to love that game and the complexity is about right for the GP32, with clear sprites etc and it just had tons of character! I would love to see a DOS emu which I would consider complete if it just ran that ONE game! (An interpreter kind of like SCUMM?) Anyway, if anyone wants to recreate the idea I would be happy to help - I'm not a codie but I am a graphic designer so I would be happy making the graphics etc and advising on my memory of the original game...

I have nothing usefull to add except that I would totally love to play freeciv on my gp.
