Core Finished For Fgen?

Yes hes using genesis plus and rlyeh has told me he already has a z80 core. This is the best news all year for me. People don't forget to donate when it comes out.
Rob :D

Great news! An ASM 68k core could make emulation of the Amiga, CPS-1, x68000 and many MAME systems more feasible as well, right?

Now if only someone had a fast ARM assmebly Z80 core they could give him for the emulator. But full speed is still a great thing =)

To win him back we could always have a fundraiser for him. He goes off to the highest bidding device scene.
Well hopefully Rlyeh can use mine. I'm looking at the ( very sexy ) Cyclone source at the moment and its giving me alot of ideas on how to make my CPU core alot more easy to use for porting.

Does anyone know what genesis emulator he is porting, because if I know that I can have a look at how that source accesses the Z80 and try and duplicate the functions in my core.

I really excited about this emulator and I'd love to help get it full speed with sound.
Hello Reesy, I didn't know you kept an eye on the GP32 scene. I presume you must have at least dabbled with GP32 coding, so how have you found it to be, compared with GBA?

Sweet Rlyeh is an excellent emu for gp32 coder and his work is awesome! Can't wait to see a release, If you search for reesy's posts he told about what he's done on gp32 and why there was no release ;)

The gamepark just keeps getting better and better!

Yes, It really would be awesome with SOUND. I don't play emus without sound much as it really hurts the experience. I would even sacrifice a little speed to get sound. I hope it is possible on the GP32.

Yep, a 68000 ASM core would help all these projects :) Also, being able to underclock Castaway would be an added bonus (or perhaps leave enough ticks for proper sound emulation/ bang the hardware for demo's). If Reesy also pulls off Z80 ASM core then a hell of a lot of mame games will become available (ram permitting of course). I'm holding out for a Miggy EMU (well, I can wish!). also the Z80 core could be used in spectrum, GB nd GBC amongst others.

This 68k core would be a big help for Castaway. Maybe Skeezix can use it to tweak up the speed a bit. Would be great.

Soon as in two weeks (GBAX 2004)? That's what I'm guessing.

hello, well I'm spanish so I will try to translate what Rlye say:

---------
the core is Cyclone 68000 from Dave it can be found at www.finalburn.com.
I've compiled it using GCC and I'm using it from ARM ADS.
I've problems to include it because since I've compiled it all games doesn't work, now it has graphic fails etc... it's time to debugg I think.
By the way, when it works, it works 100% with fskip 1 @ 133 mhz, like the intro of golden axe2.
I need more time, I have to do more work, because I've done nothing for last 4 months.
---------

well, I hope you understand it, because my english is very poor.

Bye.

Somehow I knew that he'd been doing nothing for the past four months
