Games that work in gpcastaway and are damn good:--

Civilisation - It seems to work
Frontier Elite 2 - Glitchy Graphics but virtually 100% speed!!
Midwinter 1+2 - Get these games now!! they both work great
Operation Stealth - It seems to work
Cruise for a corpse - Cannot find the st disc image anywhere
Goblins 1+2 - Goblins 1 seems to work 100% dunno about 2 though
Star Wars - Yep its the arcade version and it works 100%
Speedball 2 - works 100%
Dragons Breath - few graphical glitches but plays
Dizzy games - Crystal kingdoms\spellbound don't work or not playable(Magicland does!!) - and of course the seymour goes to hollywood works 100%
Kick Off 2 - Works but needs some frameskip
Dungeon Master\Chaos Strikes back - works 100%
Captive - works 100%
Populous - seems to work
Grandad 1+2 - 1st works with few glitches
Another world - works 100%

Has anyone got dragons lair\space ace working on castaway? or a cruise for a corpse?

Man, I played every game for the ST back in the day.. but have forgotten most of them :) Good list!

Spherical works well; excellent puzzle game.

Super Sprint is 100% and really fun.

Anyone tried Hard Drivin' yet?

Civilization runs? Thats a life ruiner right there ;)

SimCity.. anyone tried yet?

Empire?

Star Wars works? Sweet :)

Has anyone managed to get Major Motion to work? (It's on Automation disk 8). The emulation appears to be fine but I can't find any way of interacting with it at all... Did the Atari ST have two joystick ports, could that be it?

I'd love to play this game, was a big fan of the Amiga version.

anyone found/tried alcatraz yet?

loved it on the amiga, but there was also an st version

Is that the birds eye view gaunlet with guns type game?
I think you're thinking of "Into the Eagles Nest".

Works great, btw.

Yeah thats the one! I used to play that when I was a young one drinking cider!! hehe... I loved my Atari ST.

I never had an ST, but we C64 had Eagle's Nest and Druid long before we ever got Gauntlet, which is where I played it.

I dunno what version you were playing, but mine certainly doesnt run 100% speed :(

more like 10%, even with framskip up

Some others ive been testing

Flood, Space Crusade, Hero Quest (+ expansion), Archer M Pool, Jimmy WHite Snooker, Gem X : all perfect

No Second Prize, ELite 2, Hunter: Slow but they look great :)

Fire & Ice: cant put second disk in drive A yet :)

Dungeon Master now I have a working image is all I have been playing. There's no need for any other games yet.

works well with Cursor control but then switching to mouse for the manipualtion bits, is a bit of a chore, but i'll get used to it.

This is cool, really cool.

Thanks again Jeff.

You are the man

RobertG a close 2nd, deving without a machine, what a star

Perhaps a "Hold R, Switch to mouse while held" type thing for the cursor system in future version? Just an idea

Yep that sounds a good idea

I know that it may be a too much to change this for just one game, but Tobriand idea is good for quick switching between cursor and mouse

What d'ya think Jeff (sweezix)

Oids works PERFECTLY!!

Played it for a couple of hours last night, the GP32 controller controls the ship amazingly well (far better than my old ST joystick).

Someone mentioned Archer MacLean's Pool - my version crashes whenever i try to aim (change angle/cue). The bios monitor shows up and that's all. Do you have a fully working one?

Supersprint flicks badly on my GP32. Not actual racing screen (that displays fine) but on the winning screen and when you the program is waiting for other players to jump in. Upping the frameskip makes the flickering worse.

So not a 100%.

Yeah it works great on the GP32. I've got further than I ever did on a real ST.

Now if only the author can nail the sound on the next release of the emulator...

Hey is it possible, that the F-Buttons are wrongly mapped?

At least with Supergau disk images it seems so. There you have to
push F1, F2, etc. in their menu to select a game.
Since in castaway you have "F 1 2 3...', I always pushed '1' for 'F1'
and got to the 'F2'-Game. Then I tried to push 'F', and the 'F1'-Game
was loaded...
