Well its been a while since I gave you a scene round up on information and happenings, firstly Gamepark have sold out of GP32s all together - including the 800 extra they had made - now here is the interesting news - before they make more there is going to be a redesign, at the moment I've no more information that it will definately contain a BACKLIT LCD, just like the Zodiac, and because of this battery life will be as low as only 2-4 hours on 2 AA batteries!

So how come GP are making changes? Well the still limited European launch is behind this redesign.

lets hope its more than just cosmetic. A faster cpu, would be nice and a couple more buttons for snes emulation would be top of my list. :D

i dont think they'd improve any hardware on it ( maybe add a couple more buttons). if they were going to do that then surely they call it something different and not just a "redesign". ooo maybe they'll make it a clamshell.

hmm any major redesign would make me want to buy another but i just dont have that option in any kind of way atleast until my birthday... What if they added a compact flash cart instead ??? that would be fantastic

Nooooo not a clamshell!
I have to say, a bit of a redesign in terms of sticking a 200MHz chip in there though along with a couple of extra buttons would be great fun. And maybe a backup battery to run a system clock on or something (ideally a high-capacity capacitor since that way it could be re-charged whenever turned on - which would be nice :) ). Some more RAM and a backward compatible bios would also be nice...

I doubt it though; its probably just an LCD installing. If it were other than that, how many people would buy another with the extra bits? I know I would - although I'd have to wait until I've got a job, I think...

Either way, I just realised something - my GP32 FLU just became even more collectible, if they're changing models significantly before they make any more! W00t ;)

Maybe It will have a gaint N on it becasue they were secretly bought by nintendo to stop the GBA emu. Whats better to do when you are a failing gaint than take anything and everything down with you.....or maybe just a new lcd.

The big N is bull. Its kinda funny that I have 300 original nintendo games and like 7 systems (toploader too :D ). Every year they get exponentially worse.

touchscreen would be good. then i could finally end simon on the palm vs gp32 argument we've been having recently.

I dunno. I don't consider the GP a palm and wouldn't really see much use for it for me at least (hmm perhaps a touch screen version of lemmings would be cool though)
puzzle games could be good to play on it

Ohhh Ohhh... I knew that they were going to put a quantum processor into it.... ;)

If theres something other than outside redesign, and I can't get enough by selling my FLU, then ... Hope they add a better processor and keep it at the same price (and tell me b4 everyone else notices and stops buying old GP32s)

I hope it's something more than a power hungry LCD being added... (Frontlighting is better in my eyes) Otherwise it's gonna be a TERRIBLE business move for gamepark (Again <_< )

dude... i'm totaly gonna get it and i'm not gonna sell my old no matter how much better the new one is... you should always keep you system it's just stupid not to... god... IDIOTS who sell their system hate them, hate them all, all should die...
