POSt NUMBER 500!!!!! OmG OMG OMG

sorry

anyway I like the fact that it's been running at 132mhz this whole time... I now have no doubts at all that it can do full speed regular GBA emulation.

Miracles have happend during programming, its time to keep a stiff lip and wait.. or something like that.

it's surprising what one programmer can do to emulate a system, it shows that if you had a group of people working on emulating a high class system just about anything is possible. I think this emu will be full speed, and have good sound by the way its looking

Keep fingers crossed, i hope this guy pulls it off, if it does my GP32 rating just got a 50 Point rating on top of its 40

o_O this is almost half the size of the spam thread..... :p

It looks like the GBA Thread might beat the Spam Tread in this great and bloody war :)

Only about 2000 more. And besides, it has a lot more worth. I'd rather people post something useful here than some misc. crap in the spam thread :)

ok...what EXACTLY do i type for the rom converter?

Say i'm converting mario_kart.gba

this is what I type:

c:\rom_converter <mario_kart.gba> <mario_kart.gpa>

Correct?

As far as I can remember, I put ROM_CONVERTER.EXE in c:\, opened a DOS prompt and typed:
ROM_CONVERTER demo.gba gpdemo.gba
and that worked.

You can NOT play Mario Karts on this emulator, or any other games. The emulator can not handle sprites yet, it can only handle system generated graphics such as lines and writing. This is why only technical demos will run at the moment.

That is the last thing you'd want with a handheld. who would actually carry around so many speakers with them ?
Just carry a pair of 5.1 surround headphones with you :p

good to see they are staying on topic themselves. ;)

going offtopic does no harm, it just keeps the thread alive between news. Its not that hard to keep up with.
