i just got my gp32 in the mail today, and ive been busy setting it up. but i can only get littlejohn to run at 133 mhz. the gameplay feels fine at that speed for the most part but the sound definitely lags behind. i figure if it would overclock it would be perfect.

on a side note, i'm kind of dissappointed in the speed of littlejohn. im coming from pocketnes on the gba which was near perfect in my opinion (except for mario 3) to littlejohn where the sound runs a little slow. and i know the gp32 is a much more powerful system. oh well im just rambling now. you've done a good job so far yoyo, just some small criticisms.

Unfortunatly it dosent seem to overclock at all, some people have said version 3 is a little faster though. But 4 does work pretty well for a lot of games... make sure your sound isnt at 44mhz because it dosent need to be that high and the NES wasnt that hot sound wise. ;) Also Vsync: off and video: normal

hmm, somebody had a site where they hosted emu's with overclocked headers- was it crazeeplayer? I can't remember, but it might be worth trawling the forum archives...

I'm getting lag on 4 as well, elite stutters a fair old bit, but I think it might have done the same on a real NES as well.

does it realy need overclocked???????????????????????? Works Full speed all the time for me...........

It depends on the game, some seem to run flawlessly but others kinda bog down. I usually use Blaster master to test setting because I recognize the placeswhere the original slows down. If it slows down on the opening scene (when the vehicle zooms down the tunnel) then you need to adjust your settings a bit and it'll run at nearly 99% full speed, Contra still slows down in the "3d" levels a little though.

What where the differeances between Little John 3 and 4 any way? Wouldn't 3 have issues even though it possibly runs faster?
