Hi, which movie player is better?
The free Divx player or Movie Park.
I read that the free divx player runs at 133Mhz with soudn at about 20 or even more frames, is this true, and if yes, how can you give me virtual dub settings for this player. And which divx codecs does this player plays. and the last thing, is it still in dev?

Then Movie park, heard that it only rusn at 15fps, but can play more codecs, is it possible to play even movies in full speed with it? And how can i get it without credit card? also here, can you give me a virual dub setting for this player

THANKS

Hi,

I can not confirm this, As i use Movie Park, But i have heared and read in the doc`s that there is currently no sound in the free divx player. :(

But, Apparently it does play files at a faster frame rate. :)

Not sure - apparently the frame rate IS higher, but with no sound, i see it as pretty pointless (wouldprefer lower fps with sound!)

Actually - Moviepark is only 10fps and only plays DivX 4.12 (as far as I know)... But it DOES have sound - which is a massive bonus, and makes it my player of choice.

As for the settings - Two choices :-

You can look on www.gp32emu.com in the guides section for a guide on how to use both movielink (moviepark's built-in converter) or virtualdub for converting files...

OR

You can use the settings file here :-

http://www.gp32x.de/gp32download.php?do_w...=fileinfo&id=85

to do it in Virtualdub. Bear in mind that these may need to be tweaked depending on the fps of the source vid file.

Cheers
