Well it's finally here well in theory it is finally here ups says it's out for delivery. I am chomping at the bit lol.

I am planning on getting and using wind ups are there advantages to booting directly into it or would it be better to just install it and run it along side the regular gp os.

hey man dammit use a comma or someone will get a coma in reading ur stuff, lol.

well jus install it and runs it when u want, i don't see important things around it, btw, besides the desktop ,icons, filemanager and launcher is pretty useless. lol.

I can't see what the point would be of launching windups from freelauncher, that would just take ages. Just flash multifirmware (be aware of the risks, blablabla), it's lightning fast and windups looks amazing.

I actually flashed my gp32 to use windups, but have switched to Pacrom because it's a lot better and easier to navigate.

You need to have a folder in GPMM called WIND-UPS with another folder in that called IMGS and in that you put your icons (e.g. Antiriad's). Everything works fine after that.

I prefer Aquafish.... Windups gives you options to delete, copy, paste etc

???? I didnt have to install the Original Windups and mine works Perfectly....
You don't have to install Wind-ups but if you want to use different backgrounds or custom icons you obviously need the folders and files. The easiest way to get all the foldes and files installed is by installing Wind-ups and deleting the fxe, that's why you get the advice to install Wind-Ups.
