I dont think North Korea can realli do much. i mean yeah. they have a army of 1,000,000 and maybe nuclear missles. but if they start anything then they would get there ass kicked. China wants the wests money not the wests blood so they would not help North korea in a war.

That's basically right, their reasons for doing this is so they get more recognition, and more money for aid. They are trying to appear bigger and more of a influential power of the region. atleast that's how it seems to alot of people I know...I could be wrong though.

Of course they should. The USA is the only country responsible enough to possess a nuclear deterrent. Any other country might end up dropping them on cities full of civilians. The USA would never do that.....again.......would they ?
I don't know a single country responsible enough to possess a nuclear "deterrent".

Exactly!
But as more countrys have them the more unlikely it is for someone to us ethem as they know it would be a war without any "winners".

Sanctions worked so well against Saddam. While his people flourished, his palaces and army degraded, to the point where he had to personally beg on the streets of Baghdad. "Will dictate for food"... Pitifull sight he was.

Impose Sanctions
End aid
I know that those are both likely the only thing that can be done, other than military action which is even worse.
But the problem is the people that are harmed by that will not be the N. Korean government, more likely their innoccent people.

In case you missed it that was intended as an ironic statement. The country that nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki, (like one A-bomb on a secluded military base would not have got the message across), are now afraid that other countries can not be trusted with that kind of power. In my opinion that was a crime on a par with the holocaust.
Sanctions against a totalitarian regime are obviously futile. They are only going to be effective if the government can be swayed by the suffering of the people.

Considering America wasn't originally part of the war, I think that Little Boy and Fat Man were a stupid idea. THey could have just dropped them in secdluded areas as you say. I think it was more of "Show Off" thing. Like.

"we can make atomic bombs with 50 kiloton warheads, thats not exactly a lot but its still uber cool!"

north korea should be able to make and test stuff as long as they go about it the right way. I think if america attacks another country or starts another war we should impose sanctions on them. :p .

We are all fucked anyway there will be a big huge war soon and most of us will die.

Firing long range misslies into the sea of JAPAN and threating nuclear war is the right way of going about it. Making weapons while your countries' citizens don't have electricity for the night and when your people are starving is awesome. So is threatening countries and demonising them within your own borders who you have to beg them for food aid.

North Korea is a hole and you people seem to have no sense of relative importance. It's all well and good to believe that America shouldn't be allowed missiles and such but putting America and North Korea on the same level, reagardless of your opinion of America is extremely fucked up.
