Drmd V5 Beta 5 - Fixes Flickering Lines

I think Reesy stated that savestates changed as of Beta 4, when he added 6-button support. Time to restart your quest cranky man. :)

Time to test TV out cables. I cleaned up my room, It was under my school stuff (haven't touched that in a while lol)

The speed on these latest builds are amazing.

... but... Anyone try Dune? I keep getting hung notes. I think someone else mentioned this with another game at some point. Is there a solution for this?

Nice release! Thank you!!! BTW: the people that wondered why Test Drive two wasn't showing certain sprite and also Herzog Zwei... that might be the well known bug in the z80 core (or was it the 68000 core?)...

Cyclone bug is what you are referring to. Don't know if this is from that.

I did notice that sound becomes distorted/garbled in some games at certain times. Legend of Oasis in a player select screen got louder then distorted. Kind of sounded like if you had one of those old transistor radios and turned it up louder than it could handle. I will have to try the non MMU version to see if it happens there. Sometimes it will sound like one channel cuts or pans for no apparent reason as well. I guess that is that panning bug from FW2.0?

As I still mostly use DrMD on the GP32, I tried the previous GP2X versions just to see the speed increase. The speed gain is awesome, yet the emulator freezes on my GP2X after some minutes of playing any rom. Has that happened to anyone else?

While this is great emulator there are still two problems I keep getting. One Megaman Wilywars still
won't load, and two now Altered Beast acts weird when you move around. I hope these problems will
be resolved soon.

Too much OC?

Thats not it, I always run it at 200MHz on the GP2X. And mine is stable at 272MHz anyway. When I tried the older versions they didnt seem to have the bug. But I have not tried it with the latest 2.0.0 firmware as I flashed just yesterday. Maybe it has solved this problem.

I was playing Megaman Wily Wars last night. Perhaps you have a bad rom?

I have tried some different versions of 'Sensible Soccer' now, but in every one some in-game text is missing. For example things like showing the minutes already played if there's a free kick, how many goals each team has scored etc.

If this is a general problem, which version of sensible soccer is playable the best on the gp2x? The snes is still a little bit laggy and I can't get the amiga one to work.

That may be why, as 2.0.0 broke some stuff that was fixed that may break older versions. Im not sure though,

Just a little bug: Top Gear 2 runs at 5-6 fps... Worked better in the previous versions, got there around 40-50fps...

I had a similar problem with Hard Drivin', it was going faster than on any Genesis I have ever played, then it was going 3-4 FPS next time I played.

I rebooted and it came back, it may be an issue of interferance from running other apps first.

Most games dont register the start button anymore :/

Re-map the keys in settings ;)

Odd though, I have to keep doing that, it won't globally save the settings. <_<
