I'm sure it has been asked but I searched and couldn't find anything. I bought the AC adaptor from play-asia, assuming I could use the cord from my old electric razor. My razor is a slightly different shape though, so I just need to find one somewhere else. Would prefer to buy at a local place like Radioshack.

I know that Radioshack carries the "2-prong" to whatever size you need plugs, so as long the adapter has 2 little holes in it for the plug adapter to plug into, Radioshack will carry it.

I'll have to stop by one of the local radioshacks then and see what they have. What has anyone else used? I'm sure there has to be some other people in the US who got the official AC unit and found a cord to make it work.

Yeah. I got mine at radioshack. Unfortunatly, these are hard to find online (for cheap), so you actually have to get in a car and go to a brick 'n' mortar store.

Lucky me, though, I'm in Iraq, so I've got three different types of plugs to contend with and voltage adapters for some things, so I've got to have tons of these anyway.

Did you end up getting one of their 'multi adapter' things? Because I already payed for the official adapter from play-asia, so I'd just like a new cord that goes from the 'brick' into the outlet on the wall. If I can't find that, then just an adapter that goes into the outlet in the wall, and then I can plug the 2 round prongs (that are on my official AC unit) into that.

No, I just got something that changes the two round prong plug into an american style plug. The only problem with these is that sometimes they have loose connections, so some of mine are duct-taped to the plug.

Cool, I'll just go get one of those and probably tape it up as well. It's kind of misleading the way they make it sound like it is so easy to find a replacement cord... "just use one from an electric razor" I have an electric razor, and have looked at several of my friend's/family's razors, none of them are shaped like that.
