Okay, I've searched around and I can't find anything similar here already, but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I've been playing all my old LucasArts games (took ages to find the CDs) but I've hit two issues.

My Flight of the Amazon Queen doesn't save properly. If I "Write Entry" and "Read Entry", it does work, but if I close down ScummVM and read it again, it doesn't.

Secondly, The Digg. Amazing game, have loved starting to play it again, but does anyone know how to skip the bleeping intro?! I've seen it FOUR TIMES already!
Basically, I have to let it run through until the start of the game and then I can use "select" to load my save.

Beneath A Steel Sky was flawless, though, and I have got to the Monkey Islands yet (can't wait).

Does anyone have any ideas on those? I was wondering if deleting the intro files from the Digg data would solve it, but I'm not sure which files - may do a trial and error until it works, but I'm guessing it won't boot without the intro.

Cheers

maybe you can replace the intro files with dummies... don`t know how the scumm engine works though, so it might not be possible, And that save bug in the digg... maybe it's the sync issue? Try and run the game (scummvm) with a script and execute a sync command at the end.

Thanks for the reply.

I haven't worked out which files are the intro yet (I'm at work, so shouldn't really be doing it at all ;) ).

Unfortunately, I'm already using a script for Scumm that has "sync" straight after the call to scummvm.
I'll do some more testing later, but I can't see any files being created when I do the save - so it could be something along those lines (or else, it might just not work).

weird... hmm then it might just very well be unsupported. I have no experiences with scummvm on the gp2x. Maybe somebody who does, can save the day?

Hi Guys,

As a new GP2X user, could you help with this quikie? I've got ScummVM. Now where do I get the games from? I'm a diehard fan of all the Lucas Arts stuff so to know where to get the games would be great.

Cheers

I also am a big fan of the lucas arts games.

My problem that I'm haveing is that after playing Full Throttle for 15 min or so. It will lock up the gp2x. Then I have to shut it off and then turn it on again.

My other games(Indy, DOTT etc..) don't lock up. I've tried recopying the files, but it still locks up. And never in the same spot. Anyone else have this problem with this game after playing it for a while? Usually happens right before some sort of cinimatics appear. But not always.
