I'm ordering the GP2X and I am currently in a country with 220v power. I have a converter for 110, but what voltage does the GP2X take and will I be able to use it on 220v power or will I have to use it on 110 if I choose to use the power plug?

Also, what kind of plug is on the end of the adapter, standard American plugs or the two pronged 220v type ones?

Thanks.

The power supply (sold separately) is universal, i.e. it takes 110-240V. The power cable is a standard figure-eight cable, just like those supplied with PS2, Xbox and most home stereos.

Australian standard voltage is 240V, not 220V.

I use this plug pack from Dick Smith Electronics.

Figure eight? I'm sorry. I'm confused.
