Well, i only just realized really, but what is the point of picto chat on ds.
It only works for people in a 10m radius, meaning you might aswell go seapk to them.
When i first heard about it, i thought it would be some type of msn. i thought you would connect through wi-fi and speak to registered friends.
Is nintendo planning something like this?
And ds download play, i thought you could download content off the internet, and play demo's.
anyway, if anyone found any good use for picto chat

Its just for messingaround, silent communication and drawing pictures.

Pictochat is like the Windows key - fine to play around with, but you're not going to get much good from it.

two words
Freshman Geography

I used it probably one hour each day in that class talking to random slackers and future drop-outs. (I think I was the only freshman in that class)

I always thought that pictochat was very fun to play with in school. You can doodle stupid crap and make fun of people and teachers without having to swallow paper if you get cought... you can just delete it! Also you can play tic tac toe forever without running out of paper!!!

No-one has picto-chat in my school
well no one in my year has a ds either, well not many people have
all psp's

In my year there is only one 'gamer' with a NDS, but he thinks Nintendo is the best (fanboy -_-) and thinks the GP2X sucks because... he's too lazy to read Craig's review (I think he's just too scared to find out that the GP2X > NDS :p ) and because he's Nintendo fanboy. Sure he's strange ;)

PictoChat is very good for school, especially when someone else has it too, cause it's like a cheating-device :) You can just message the answers to friends, or just use it as a 'quick reference guide' :p

The number of people in my school with a DS is roughly equal to the number of those with a PSP. I'm the only one with a GP2X though.

HArdly anyone has a DS around here. Or at least noone brings them into school. Quite a few have PSP's. Still quite a few have DS's but are afraid to bring them into school.

In a school of 3,000 about 20 people have PSPs and 20 have DSes. 1 has a GP2X :p

I was very lucky that people in my Geography class had DSes because of the ease of that class. I honestly could have passed the final in 4th grade, so I didn't need to pay attention and could play games.

This is what pictochat is all about:
