nobody's that stupid :p jk
i highly doubt that anyone would risk making a windows skin for the mac for fear of lynching by fanboys. plus, most people like the interface enought that they dont change (tho some do, i had a skin called Shinobi for a while, but it messed up my fonts so i went back)

The Cheat, I agree somwhat in that it annoys me to see these wannabe OS X desktops. But people aren't going to buy a new computer just to make it look authentic. Don't be stupid. There's nothing wrong with people aspiring to make their PC environment look better, especially if they're on the computer a lot. Apple is a good example to follow.

Edit: your post disappeared, wtf? Now I look stupid.

Linux anyone?

Now I just gotta get GPLink to work with it. I am making the jump, and haven't used Windows in a few days except to print something on a different computer :)

Here's my new desktop. Not very original I know, but cool considering its running on the same laptop as the previous (previous page) Windows one was.

Its Mac OS X Panther running under PearPC, the PowerPC emulator. Speed is great even with the little ram available on my laptop atm. *Apparently* some very high end PC owners have managed to run OS X at a comparable speed to mid range macs.

As it is, its not exactly flying for me, but its usable and fun to mess around with :D

really now? i'm intriguiged. i may yet try it on my comp.
well as I say, it is slow and therefore a drag to use for anything other than out of interest, but its fun and definitely intriguing because there are quite often new versions, specific P4 and Athlon versions, nightly builds etc.

I wanna see how it performs on my desktop with all the extra RAM that has.
