I can't believe this:

eBay auction: GamePark GP2X Portable Game Media Player with Extras!!!

Just read this quote, it helps if you look at the picture he put up too convince us the screen is scratched.

Here's a close up picture of the scratches. They are all light marks and aren't noticeablt while playing the unit.
NO dead pixels The scratches are on the face plate and not on the actual screen. Just for clarification :).

I posted question number 4, I can't convince him of the existence of the third invisible screen protector, he maintains his screen is scratched.

Q: Is the screen actually scratched? Or is it the invisible screen wrap, start picking at a corner and if a layer starts coming up then you never took off the shipping protector.
A: It's the actual screen protector is scratched. I've posted a picture. They're not noticeable when the unit is turned on. The screen protector was scratched like that out of the box unfortunately.

The irony is he has a perfectly good GP2X, and it couldn't hurt the price of the auction at all to "remove" the "scratches" from his GP2X, I am waiting to see what happens, I messaged him twice more about it.

I never heard about any units having dead pixels like he seems to worry about, and I have been on here through the launch last year, and got a First Edition, and the one after the First Edition that didn't say First Edition on it. :)

IMPORTANT: OK turns out I was wrong. The screen is perfect. Thanks to the ebay member for pointing out that there is a thin bit of plastic protecting the screen. I have taken it off and as you can see in the picture the screen doesn't have one scratch on it.

I tried to post this before lunch, but our college seems to have a screwed server, NOTHING is allowed out at all, I can't even log into anything anymore,

Not even their own online testing  (they use a SoCal service though, and we are in N CA.)

Yeah, he fixed the auction.

I couldn't afford it anyway, so why not help him out?

I guess this topic is dead (didn't wind out that way did it  )
