I to am also counting down the days until my GP32 arrives, I ordered it last week and cannot wait for it to come. Now, what would you suggest that I download? Is the free version of Resident Evil good? Is it the full game or just a part of it? What cool computer games are there besides 3-D shooters like Doom, any SimCity 2000 or any games like that? Cannot wait

Depends what kind of games you like.

3D shooters are a little thin on the ground. Plenty of good 2D ones (in fact, some of the best ever produced) available for PC Engine.

If you like Sim City 2000 - I recommend Civilisation on CaSTaway - takes a little while to get used the controls, though. Defender of the Crown is also worth playing.

As a side note, the Colecovision emulator delivers a raft of near-perfect arcade classics (Moon Patrol and Gyruss amongst others).

Resident evil isnt the full game just a few rooms its not that good but well worth looking at just for the wow factor :D

Yes, it's a little harder to play, but cool :) And it's good that you can save. Remember, the GP32 is more console game emulation than PC ports.

Someone told be to try the SNES-version and it works so much better. I think it´s almost fullspeed and the controls work much better.
And the snes-version has music (not very good, but music)
