I've only recently got my TV Out cable for my GP2X... and aside from it being in b&w on my TV it works fine.

I know DrMD is supposed to have a few hiccups with TVOut, so I downloaded the TVOut fixer.

The problem for me is that it makes the display WAY to big for the screen and then does weird screen divisions until it's eventually stretched completely out of proportion.

I tried increasing the refresh time and quickly navigating to DrMD but it still just stretches the scren out of proportion :/

Don't know about about the rest as I haven't got one, but with regards to the black and white picture....have you changed the TV mode to PAL? (Default is NTSC)

On my digi camera that has TV out if it is set to NTSC the picture is B&W.

Anyone ever get TV-out working with DrMD and NTSC mode using the TV-out fixer?

The bad news is that TV-Out fixer only works for PAL but not for NTSC. I found this out the hard way when it first came out (had the same problems that you reported and it was driving me crazy). The good news is that Ressy will be adding TV-Out support in his next release.

PokeParadox: The reason it comes out in black and white is because it's set to NTSC. If you set it to PAL, it'll get converted properly or something. When I connect my Linux box to my TV in NTSC mode, it comes out black and white, but when I set it to PAL, it comes out in full colour.

I already know why it's in b&w... I just can't fix it. (The TV won't let me force Svideo mode for the input)

It's not an BTSC issue. It is in B&W in PAL mode also. The problem is that the TV won't let me set the input mode to Svideo. So it is only recieving shade information and not Svideo colour information. (Something like that. I can't quite remember how Svideo works.)

In any case thanks again. I'm going to try the TV-out fixer in PAL mode with DrMD and see if that helps with the resizing problem.
