So... What have you completed with the difficulty that is the default GP2X stick? I finished Landstalker on the bus ride home last night. That game was really tough on the Genesis. Some of the rooms were practically impossible on the GP2X.

Any other stories of extremely difficult games completed on the GP2X?

sonic3 :p toejam and earl really wasnt to hard but was way fun, sometimes rpgs give me crap with the stick but it isnt a big deal.

I've beaten metal slug 1 and 2. :D

I finished Sonic 3 and I'm working my way through Secret of Mana and Harvest Moon(I know it's hardly worth mentioning :p).

child's play
Once somebody completes zork on the c64 emu we can talk about pain and misery. For bonus points, there's the atari 800 version.

I'd accomplish this worthy and noble task myself, but I upgraded my stick and seem to have misplaced the original...in the trash... I guess I could simulate the experience right here on my PC if I run up the old dos version and type on the keyboard using a broomstick protruding from my backside.

landstalker looks really good though...I'll have to try it.

If you are looking for a really hard task, why not trying ghouls and ghosts on MAME with one credit? You have got the chance to earn the respect of many people, even if you accomplish this mission with Dave C's cap.

Chaos Engineer - I am amazed you have completed Stunt Car Racer on the outcaST!

I remember on the Amiga I could complete the levels the first time round, but then you have to play them again with increased speed :-O I think I managed the first league, but after that I was just receiving too much damage to get the car round the track fast enough.

to be honest: I worked with savestates. But I saved only between the races.

Salamander on GP Engine with many savestates at difficult points. So I cheated but never got there before on any other emulator.

Amazing what you can do with a GP2X when you fly a lot.

I just finished supermarioland with gnuboy. I didn't remember this game was so easy, I finished it in one hour loosing only 3 or 4 lifes :p So it may be not something to be so proud of, even with the stock joystick ;) (that is fine for me, btw)

What did I accomplish with the standard GP2X stick?
I managed to level out my midi keyboard. One of the rubber feet has gone awol. I got little creative with a craft knife.

Chimpoid

See my sig.

Though I think it has more to do with save states, but DaveC's cap does help :)
