I downloaded 2xhandy and started it up, with everything in the right place. But all i got was a black screen. I tried to test if it was my lynxboot.img file by trying out the same game (s.t.u.n runner) and .img file on the windows xp version of handy, and it played fine.

Can anybody help?

The lynxboot.img must be all upper case I think.

hmmm I have lynxboot.img all lower case and it works fine. It might be the wrong boot file, or maybe you don't have the right folder structure. In order to get mine to work I had to create a handy directory, copy all the files into that and also the lynxboot.img and all the roms.

Actually there are 2 Lynx emus. Make sure you are using the one from Tuskenraider. His is near full speed with sound. The other is slow without sound.

ya, LYNXBOOT.IMG was capital.

To put it on my card i dragged the "handygp2x" folder over, placed the .img and a rom in it and put the .gpe in root.

Ive tried renming the handygp2x folder to gp2xhandy, but no luck.
What did you name yours cbox?

So the emu doesn't load at all? When I had mine named wrong the emu would load but then not work and error out when I tried to load a ROM.

Read the readme again and make sure all paths are in the suggested places and make sure there aren't any typos. It does work as I tried it out with many ROMs.

Make sure it is the Tuskenraider version of the emu.

ya, its the tuskenraider version...ill list the directorys im using...

(root)\gp2xhandy.gpe
(root)\handygp2x -this is the main folder with all the stuff (except the .gpe)
(root)\handygp2x\saves -saves folder

Contents of \handygp2x are...
handygp.pic
LYNXBOOT.IMG
S.T.U.N Runner(1991).lnx
autorun.txt

Thats everything, everything there exact (uppercase/lowercase wise)

Hmmm I must be using the lesser version then, I'll have to look for the other one. I did notice I wasn't too impressed with it when I tried one game, no sound.

You do have to activate sound first in Gp2xhandy. If you press the start button you can configure the emulator.

@skate2live92: your directories and files look fine, I have everything in a 'handy' folder but tried your setup and it works here. Upper- or lowercase doesn't make a difference, I've tested this. Even without the lynxboot the emulator should start and give an error message.
