22-33 ... mmm, wait

The categories are a bit messed up :)

Are you

A ) Young, full of life and just finishing high school
B ) Impotent

hahah But seriously, myself I loved the commodore 64 and the NeoGeo, although it's not that old yet, the Dreamcast, I truly feel the Dreamcast (and although it selled a few million units, it came out in an age where anything less than 20 million is a "disaster") was the last of the "new gameplay consoles". In the sense that there were lots of interesting niche "experimental genres". Though niche doesn't sell the units that EA sports games do :( .

Yes current consoles have some great games, but it seems that the formula is now pretty much set in stone, ie FPS, RTS etc...

I turned 37 today... where did the time go? It seems only yesterday that I was playing Adventure on the Atari 2600 and writing Basic games on my Vic-20. Man, I'm feeling old today.

I'm 35 and started out 24 years ago at Secondary School on a Pet and a North Star (The 6th form had a punch tape and Hollerith card PDP but it got decommissioned when the BBC Model B's arrived)before getting my Vic20.

Reliving all the Vic stuff is great fun. Owning all these things emulated was a hobby once but I ran out of room in the roof and then sold almost all of it when I got my GP32.
