OK, I have a memory card that I bought from some electronic shop when I visited China and it's... well, it had no brand name on it. It had a false 1GB sticker on it(I don't care that it's actually 512MB, I got it for a GOOD price), and I peeled it off and all it said was 512MB with the SD sign on it. The label on the back is in Chinese and the sticker said it was Sandisk, but I don't wanna risk upgrading my GP2X with it, so I'll post pictures when I get home from where I am right now. Does anyone somehow magically have any Idea of what brand it Is? It's Blue also. For now, here's a terrible drawing made in Paint.

i heard that everyone loves me and wants to send me money

to be honest it seems that the brand seems not to have much factor in whether the card will update the firmware, as there are people who have succeeded with most brands and also some who've failed with the same brand

read other threads here, something about the formatting of the card/partitions etc

Memory freak here (10 1gb sd cards) It is definately a Kingston sd card. Notice the yellow tab on it and also how the 512mb is written. Most other companies use a white tab.
