My Gp32x :d

Am I the only person here who, aside from only a little errors in the joystick's feedback on NK's emus, likes the control stick that comes with it?

I love it!

Also, I'm NOT experiencing ANY dead zone with my first edition 2X.

omg you have to move the stick liek 10MM WTF R W3 3VAR GUNNA D00!@ i wish people would quit whining about it, its retarded.

i wish triton would stop dissing on 'noobs'. just answer their questions or don't pay any attention to them if they make you so pissed that you have to flame them to death.

at least he's happy with his stick, that's good for him , not slipping and not minding any deadzone, brobably he's moving his thumb as softly as hulk on his worst day <_<
i'm kinda jealous of him, i wish i would not die in level 2 (or even one  ) of mario bros just because the joystick didn't record a "left" move :p

by the way my mini rubber stick v1 is evolving well, pics when finished :D but i think it will not be perfect until v2 B)

not flaming noobs, just get irratated with people who whine and complain about the littlest thing, if you hate the so called deadzone "problem" then either do something about it or stop whining about it. or just send your 2x back, not to be flamey or anything.

I made this topic and if you read it you know I'm doing something about it, and not only once !
and in this topic i see you whining more than the peoples who don't like that deadzone,

it's a topic about joystick mod, so it's normal for peoples who find the joystick problematic to come here , so now the question is: do you come here to hunt them or what ?

matt goode : do you mean the GP32's one or the rubber one? :D

I really like the rubber one, how are you affixing it to the stick??

Not much?? I have three psx bins and flashback, and quake and the atari800 emulator with Montezuma's revenge, and lode runner(INCLUDED) will keep you going for hours, then there is video, I love the video, it is really good, I show it off at school and some people think it's pretty cool.

oh, well off to play my 2/3 full 1GB card :D
I am waiting forDrMD btw, I do realize more is to come. I might even buy that 3d hover racing game, it looks really cool, especially if they get spectral and alpha effects put into it. Entirely possible from what I've seen of it on the GP32 at 66mhz :)

Edit: I forgot the sms emulator and sonic the hedgehog.

i use a piece of plastic pipe from a "dry-air duster" as interface (or rubber itself is too soft of course :D) , it's yellow, you can see it a bit on the pics ;)

so simply : a 3mm hole into the rubber, stuff the pipe inside, then drill it a bit because the hole is too small, and voilà! i don't even need glue! :)

here's a pic of most of things i use:
rubberstuff.jpg

my actual stick in the middle ;)
you can see everybody can do it too :p

also inclued a WIP prototype, it's higher but it will only be wider when finished ;)

but this rubber is quite hard and makes powder, it's easier to work on it, but to use it for long-term i'm not sure if it's the best, so tomorrow i'll buy some thick plumber joints to try :D

Although I personally like the default stick, I understand that modding always happens and it is up to people's preference. I also understand that people might have problems with the stick. I agree with triton that those who complain SHOULD do something about it, and although YOU'RE doing something that doesn't count for the others, who AREN'T and just post in this topic to complain about the stick. If everyone already knows the gripes, why RESTATE them? That is what I'm tired of, and probably triton, too.

I applaud the efforts of those who want to change their stick and try to, or ask about the parts that they could use, or maybe even talk about ways to fix their deadzone.

But it's just annoying to see someone make a post that is just griping about something already known, and making no effort to solve it.

is it better to just post in this topic to complain about peoples who complain ?
i say no <_<

and now, the ultimate question: WHO came in this topic to complain about the stick ?

i have re-read the topic before to ask the question, if you re-read it too, you'll understand why i'm expecting an answer SO much B)
