Alright ... I've given it a good go on my own ... I must be missing something.

I've followed the instructions to the letter. It boots, gets me to the main menu.

ANY option I choose causes the menu to disappear (backdrop is still there) and then the whole thing hangs. Power cycling is required.

Anyone? Thoughts?

I just dl the file, loaded it the SD card, gp2x recongized the file...but as soon as press the botton A on the file name, the screen turns blank, if I hit B, it will just bring me back to the prevoious directoty...what did I do wrong?

BTW..I unzip the file before I transfer the folders to the SD card...does it matter?

Copied duke3d.gpe, plus duke3d.cfg, duke3d.grp, defs.con, game.con, and user.con from the Atomic Edition to /Games/Duke3D. Edited the config file for the sound settings (FXDevice=0,MixRate=1600).

All I get is a black screen. I've tried setting ScreenWidth/ScreenHeight in the cfg to 320/240 just in case, and also all the filenames to lowercase (they were all upper), but still get a blank black screen.

Any other suggestions? Can someone post a working duke3d.cfg for me to try out?

Did you press A or B on the main menu?
I don't get to the main menu, nothing seems to load. I've tried various buttons after waiting a while, but it just stays a black screen.

dido! maybe our sd cards just have some conflicted files in it !!!!??????

Yesterday after I dumped all the files, and reloaded the SNES emulator. It started working with some games all of the sudden....

I just noticed that there is a source code file for the game...can anyone tell me what I need to do with these files? Do I just put the zip file in the SD root directory?

Thanks

Yeah, got it working first time! Basically followed the instructions, but rather than pressing A or B, I pushed down on the joystick.
Just a couple of questions about it though... How do you make the Duke duck? Or crouch, if you prefer?
Also, what's with his freaky alien voice?
