just tried the GUI version (essentially a rom loader) with TMNT 4 Turtles in Time and it seems to emulate it flawlessly in every aspect apart from speed. No graphical glitching, no sound issues other than slowdown...

However it does seem to be between 60-70% speed with a high frameskip. Great start though

it's a port, I believe it's a linux emulator that's been compiled for ARMs but not sure

I just tried out Gradius III, and it runs perfectly apart from the lack of speed...I literally whooped when it booted! This is very exciting, keep up the good work :)

Ok, I hope someone can test this for me!! All I want to know is does, Super Metroid work? That was a huge selling point for me 'Super Metroid Portable' :) It has a nice ring to it. LET ME KNOW GUYS!!! :)

Thanks

The german version works albeit slow.

incidently how did you display the FPS?

Down press the joystick and press select to get a framerate on your display

Down press the joystick and press start to reset the rom

Down press the joystick in combination with the right shoulderbutton to exit the emulator and back into the main menu.

Speed:
06/60 in Puzzle Bobble, gameplay (higher in menus) (NTSC)
06/60 in Super Mario World, gameplay (higher in menus) (NTSC)
06-20/50 in Super Rtype, gameplay depending on how much is on the screen (PAL)
04-12/50 in Rtype III, during gameplay depending on how much is on the screen (PAL)

just tried out castlevania IV and this runs perfectly too, bar the low framerate and high FS.

Just a shame that the gp2x buttons feel more like mini sponges.

Hmm, don't share that view. They are very much like the buttons on my Logitech rumblepad v2 wireless.

Compatibility of the emulator is very high, but so is the compatibility of snes9x....

Why doesn't someone port snes9x over, besides, It just need a new button map, and it should be very good, due to the high processor speed. Then optimized later...
