Well, I bought few NES games from Jaw from the marketplace section here. To my surprise, UK, and Italy, NES games are incompatible with the rest of Europe. They are apparently the Mattel NES's warned about in Scandinavian gamepacks....

Anyways, after googling, there apparently is relatively simple way to make a euro-NES compatible with UK games. After some more googling, I couldn't find any indication, what this way is... :(

So, if anyone knows, what to do, or can direct me towards the answer, I'd be very gratefull.

Could not find a big one from google, so snapped one myself.

Crappy camera. <_<

But hopefully it's similar to UK pcb. :)

Managed to nibble it cut. Was a bit worried that my rough style might damage the chip, but the machine functions perfectly, and the UK games work. Also washed the connectors inside. :p

Thanks for the info. :)

I have a question. I have a pal famicom clone, and I was thinking about getting the things (power and video converters) so I can play it here in the US because it is just sitting in the closet doing nothing.

If I get this
Family Converter 60-72 Pin For NES/Famicom
Can I play NTSC games on the Pal System? someone has commented that they could but idk...

Say, do US games work with this, aswell? I know that Famicom games have different number of pins, but are US games physically different?

yep, us games will work :)

Happy, I'm excited! My Pocket sation (famicom clone) will rise again in all of its ps1 likeness and 8 bit graphics!
