Hello

ty luckily i probally wont be watching to many movies (i suck at video encoding to lol) and it can play wma mp3s right (what about itunes songs?)

Yes, the gp32 can play mp3's. However, i have never used this function so i'm not sure if they need to be encoded (is that the right word?) to a certain bitrate or whatnot. I don't think it supports the wma format. What is the itunes format? (I wasn't aware they had their own......). I know that there are homebrew players that support ogg.

For movies, I suggest you go to http://gptheatre.co.uk and download AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE (or whatever interests you) from the website before Oct 1st because the web-hosting company ran off with their money so on Oct 1st they're getting cut off. :(

There's lots of great stuff there, but it'll probably be a while before you can download anything after October 1st because nobody around here seems able to offer Sam Fisher as much bandwidth as he needs to keep the site going.

oh what about the screen (cuz i did hear some do have problems) my question is should i buy like a glass screen from gp32z? also what video files can it play?

The glass screen is clearer and doesn't smudge and scratch as easy as the plastic one does. It is much nicer in my opinion.

Lol, that might take awhile :p

But seriously, is it that hard to do?

It is very easy. Just get a piece of glass and cut to size. Pull off that grey frame around the screen, it is fastened with double stick tape. Then pull off the plastic screen cover and put the glass one in it's place.

Where could i get a piece of glass that would work? What would I use to cut it? (my friend has just about every tool ever made and makes tons of stuff in his free time so he probably has the right stuff)

EDIT: would this also work for the gp2x? (I already have a glass screen on my gp32 that I purchased from gp32z)
