bugger, i downloaded the 80 meg one, to realise it was the same in a bigger resolution. dang

Darn, I downloaded the big one too

Looks like they'll have official GPH emulators on the unit then?

So uh... just out of curiosity, does anybody have any idea what the song that plays in the background is? I like it... and I want to listen to the whole thing now.

with the extra power being the main reason for us all wanting to buy the gp2x, wouldnt you have thought they would have shown us a demo with a snes emu running full speed and sound? It just seemed a little underwhelming seeing a gbc emu running.

Given a little more than 30 minutes and some tweaking it'll probably be possible, I think they just wanted to show that it'll run Linux apps with little problem.

i agree that it is good to see it running, but it would have been nice to see it showing some of it's potential to whet our appetites!

Maybe they don't have a SNES emu for it yet ;)

GNGEO runs with x86 ASM cores... I think it would be not possible :-(

i have complete faith in the gpx2, ahem, i mean gp2x. But when any new console comes out, the first thing they show us is somthing which utilises the systems potential.
