Mystery Of The Fday Reveiled

well but what about ppl with only 1 or 2 smc ?
not everyone has the money to buy 13 smc ...

i think rlyeh knows what he`s doing.. and he will give us some really great emus in 1 launcher or in 13 seperate fxes, i dont really care. maybe we`ll get both :)

You can still use it with separate FXEs right? even with one SMC.

Again, what would be the advantage of one fxe? I can't see any at all, just disadvantages mentioned above.

They'll be released seperately, people. I mean, come on! MAME's bound to be at least 5 megs itself--let alone if you add 12 other emus in the mix.

And even if they were together, they'd have to be released seperately anyway due to limitations of the fxe files' size, so it would have to have a launcher. If you wanted them to be seperate, don't install the launcher!

phew... sorry.

auto frameskip...NNOOOOOOOOO, the best thing Reesy did was get rid of autoframeskip on DRMD, i hope these emus won't have the same choppiness effect that DRMD had with autoframeskip or at least there is an option to make the frameskip whatever you want it to be.

You're welcome to your opinion, but I for one not only LOVE the autoframeskip (when the emulator is fast enough to make it bearable), but am very disappointed that none of rlyeh's current emulators has it. What that often means is that the game will speed up/slow down as you're playing... it can become annoying.

A search for Rlyeh turns up this:

R'lyeh was founded by strange, large aliens. They fell from the sky a long time ago and survived underwater. They enslaved a race of fishlike humanoids by sheer strength of mind.

R'lyeh has two huge strategic advantages : it is an underwater nation (being able to strike anywhere against a foe who can't strike back) and is strong in Astral Magic (its best mages can Teleport and Gateway).

Pre-researched spell: Mind Burn...

WTF?

Time for more guesses as to what the 13th emulator emulates. BBC? I hope not.

How about the Sharp x68000? Reading a couple of old posts here yesterday and the arcade ports seem very good.

:)

I can't wait for fday. It will be a great day indeed. ;)

I love the screenshots of the new look menu, nice to see those backgrounds finally being used.

What with the GBAX competition and f-day this should be a good couple of months. :D

That would be cool. So I could play the 16Bit-Castlevania-Remake (later rereleased as "Castlevania Chronicles" for Playstation)!

EDIT: NEVER MIND.

Alright, you guys... I don't know if this was there before, but I do not remember it being there...
1. Got to retrodev.info (rlyeh's site) and watch the top banner.
3. Jump for joy.
