Hello, i just yesterday baught a gp32 from a friend, i found a guide on the internet to take it apart, so i could clean it, now this guide tells you to take the ribbon from the socket but it doesnt tell you that it is nearly impossable to get back in, i eventually got it back in but now the screen is fuzzy and when you moove the screen around you can vaguely make out a pic of the pacrom mascot telling me that my smc is not inserted (lol) how can i fix this screen problem?

thank you for reading

p.s. here is the guide i followed and im using a nlu gp32

Didn`t had any problems with that tutorial. But it sounds like you killed your screen :(

May be it's just not plugged correctly.

I had the same problem, i only saw garbage pixels on the screen, and i fixed it just checking the conection of the screen and connecting it again.

I wouldnt use that one it looks too confusing. Use the safe method where u can put a new screen in without taking it apart.

did you "open" the cable socket pefore pulling it out? and did you open it again to insert and close it after that?
