Can I Put A Gp32 (nlu) Screen On A Gp32 Blu+

The FLU unit used a different PCB connector for the LCD ribbon than the BLU models. I don't think they even used the same LCD controller chip.

It's probably not possible to use a NLU LCD with a GP32 PCB from a BLU unit, seeing as the NLU was earlier than the FLU.

I suppose you could hack around with the ribbon cable...but, no, too much work/too tricky/may not be the same ribbon pinout anyway.

I am fairly positive they are not compatible. There was a change in the hardware between these 2 machines that made the homebrew software not run on the Blu+ without some changes and a recompile.

You could mess around with a NLU and a FLU as they are essentially the same (just a mod rather than an actual official revision), but BLU+ to NLU is a definite no go.

Looks like i'm stuck with my dead machine then :D
