Yes i can do buttons, in fact, the first molds will be of the buttons, and once i have around 50 buttons made i'll make one large button mold :D

It should be compatible with the glass screen...it will be EXACTLY the same as the old case, only a different color and clear :D

i'm going to pick up the rest of my materials tonight and start working on the molds tonight and over the weekend.

hopefully by saturday or sunday i'll have a nice ammount of the work done and i'll have working replicas of the back half of the case as well as the buttons and joystick.

the start and select buttons won't be replaceable due to the way they work/are manufactured.

Oooooh!! I soooooo hope this works man!!

Suggestion: a 'smoke' black/grey clear color would especially rock. :)

here is my BIGGEST dilema now:

the BLU, FLU, and normal gp32s....

it is safe to say that it will be compatible with the normal one, and with some modifications the flu.

but i don't want people to try and replace the case on their precious flus then bitch at me because of dust under the screen

the intertals on the blu differ slightly from those on the non lit one (which is what i have) and it might not work with it.

i'm going to assume that it will and once i have a production run of, oh say, 20 i will send one to one of the mods for free providing they try it with a BLU.

the first production run will be 25 USD and no extra charge for shipping.

once the mold is made i can cast any color i want into it....hell, i could even mix sparkly thingies in with the resin to give it a fleck paint like finish...bling out your gp32

... cool, though I live in a strict bling-free atmosphere; smoke color will do.

Also, I have a BLU :(

shipping is the big problem...

i live in the USA and most of the people here are in europe...

although the cases wouldn't weight very much, i'd expect at LEAST 10 bucks for shipping to europe...but if anyone can tell me otherwise....

i still need to buy some more stuff to make the molds, i hope to have the back half of the case completely cast by this weekend....

i know that daz genetic (spelling?) was working on some at one point, but i haven't heard back from him in at least a year...

Shipping to Europe will probably be at most $10.00.

Daz_genetic was working on it because it wasnt worth the trouble if I remember correctly.
Well, My Ds and game only cost $12 to post from America to england I believe.

the bling thing was a joke...i'm not a big fan of wanksters and bling...

actually, one of my frineds had to do a speach for a class so he did a speach on how to recognize wiggers and wanksters

'twas joking on my end as well.

Regarding the BLU thing .... just how different are the innards? I don't mind shaving off a bit to make it fit ... as long as it's not too radical :D

i don't know...

i do know that they made a few changes to the circuit board so it would support the new backlit lcd, and the new blu+ probobly is a little different as well...

but i'm pretty sure the cases will work, in fact, i'm 99.999% sure they'll work.

professional aluminum molds are reaaaallly expensive to have made, it would be a pain in the ass to have to design a new case just because of a few changes on the pcb...

so, i'm almost positive that it will work, but i don't want to make any promises...

if you were to open yours up and take some hi res photos of it then i could be sure.

Maybe Craigix or Rob could tell you if there is any drastic differences to the inards between all four models of the GP32, As they are the ones that carry out the volt mods for Gbax.

Just a thought.

Any progress? I think that clear with white paint on the backside would look cool maybe like those white Imac computers. (I don't like Macs but that one looks cool)
