Doom v8 is no good substitute.... yes it works on BLU+ but the sound is buggy and it doesn't seem to want to run any WADs other than Doom 1... Doom 2 runs with way messed up graphics, none of the other WADs I've tried work.

Doom V10 plays all the mods available for download here, the sound is perfect, and runs smoother... we need BLU+ V10!!

Good news is Craig (devver of GPDoom) is planning on making a BLU+ version when he can, or will release the source so that someone else can fix it (it's a very easy fix in the code).

Agreed it doesn't seem osnes9x will see a BLU+ version :(

Given opensnes9x's source is posted, it shouldn't be too hard for someone to repair it..

Cool Jeff, can you fix it? :)
..and the plot thickens.

I'm actually working on this myself, except I have no idea what version of the SDK & compiler was used to compile it. It doesn't compile AT ALL using a modern GCC 3.4/GPSDK environment.

The fixing part will take minutes. But so far the "turning fixed code into an fxe file" part has taken more than 20 hours with no end in sight. The OS9XGP build environment is truly awful, and totally undocumented.

If you turn up someone who can compile it, I will give them the patch. I wound up doing this for Frodo (because I was still missing something small from my build environment) and in about 2 days a fixed version showed up on the site.
