What about opening a new section: "Most wanted!" or "Wanted! Retro or Alive"

My idea is a list of old games that could be ported to GP32: visitors leave preferences and add votes, so developers wanting to make someone happy could see the list, the user preferences, and start working on a surely interesting project.

I'll start suggesting a port of "Stunts" and "Alley Cat" (Stunts should work fine on a GP32).

Good idea; although that's effectively what this forum is. But a dedicated list of games that the community would like to see ported (and the location of their source, crucially) would be quite good.

Preferably one for remakes too (i.e. we don't have source) but quite definitely separate.

Yes, the location of the sources are fundamental. As an example, I have found an OPENGL remake of Stunts for PC, and it is a porting, but I can't find the sources anywhere.

Would be amazing but as I've already suggested it about 17 times I should probably just give up!
If it makes you feel any better, I am going to be looking into it fairly soon. No guarantees though.. at a cursory glance, the source to it is pretty large and scary.. though I'm sure it's doable.

hmm a game id want to gp32. maybe diablo if its possible and these games from addictinggames.com like slime volleyball and jet slalom. they are really fun i should ask for the source code if there is one or maybe one of you coders would.

We need a list outside the forum, otherwise our requests will be forgotten very soon.

One of the webmasters should consider the idea of a new section...

Are there any game creation packages that could be ported? That would open up a lot of new games by non coders- perhaps showing off more of what the GP could do with it's hardware.

Does anyone know what the name of this game where you and possibly a 2nd player would go around sucking up monsters in your vacuums? And you could shoot the monsters from your bag after they built up and kill other enemies?

I remember I played it on the same arcade machine as Buster Bros. (That's the same as Pang, right?)

I would love to see that on the GP32.

I would like to see Toonstruck, but seeing as I'm the only person on the planet who bought it (as far as I know) then it seems unlikely that it will ever happen.

Would RPG maker 2K be possible? I think the GP32's 8mb ram would be just sufficient and a 128mb smc could cope with some reasonably sized games.

How about the original Dark Forces?

Oh Yes.

... and saves( and to a lesser degree sound) in Elite. Otherwise this classic is somewhat meaningless. I maybe from a bygone age but the prospect of handheld Elite was what persuaded me to purchase my GP32.

Goota be a NGPC emulator for me. KoF, MS2, Sonic Pocket, Cardfighters.... Absolute classic games!

As for PC games, surely the basic card game I.E solitaire and Freecell would be a good idea, if not a tad boring Fantasy game? UT2003 :p
