ok guys I found this tutorial (complete with pictures)
on the entware/joyGP page and it worked really well for me.
I've never used VirtualDub so this helped me out greatly. So for
all you n00bs out there that can't encode videos right use this...
and anyone else can too.

the site is HERE

have fun with your now portable movies....

Right on! If I believed in god, I would say "Bless you". Thank you for that post, a lifesaver. Was going to transfer over my Blackadder DVD's and Anime DVD's into half hour Episodes but had no idea where to get started.

You might want to try this one here It's much easier to unnderstand thenthat one and a little more up to par with VD. ;)

no, i think the one tek5 gave is better in general. i converted a video file with both of the guides and the entware one turned out better.

I'm at skool and now I'm rarely able to get on a computer where I can answer this myself, sooo...

Which is smaller: the VD settings provided by gp32eu.com or the settings in the entware/joy gp provided?? [edit:] [I've already answered the last question, so ignore it...] And is GP Cinema or any other GP video player ever gonna be compatible with "Second Pass/ First Pass" DiVX or XVid format??? It's much smaller than "First Pass".
