Drmd, And Reesy = Brilliant!

Don't you just love it when you're trying to have an intelligent conversation and someone starts cursing at you and calling you names, and the has the nerve to say that you are a " condescending jerkoff " ?

Once again I really shouldn't be suprised, but the intelligence of people on forums really amaze me.

And the nerve of people to. I mean , would someone talk to someone else like that if they were face to face. Most likely not. But on a forum they'll shoot their mouth off like a 12 year old punk standing beside their Mommy.

I thought you were going to ignore me ... oh well, my serve:

Yes, I called you a condescending jerkoff because

1) You insinuated that some coders were prima donnas (no, you diodn't say iot outright, but inferred)

2) This board is comprised of underaged users (again, you inferred)

3) You felt the need to point out that you've run 3 businesses. Who gives a shit? How is this relavant to your point?

And yes, I talk to people like this face-to-face. I'm an asshole, and don't care.

Prick.

 :(

No more flame war in General Talk - take it outside.

In response to an earlier post, on these boards, it goes Devs > Me > God > Other Mods > GP32x Regulars > New Guys > Dirt > Stuff On The Bottom Of My Shoe > Trolls / Flamers. All outlined in the rules.

If I had seen the post, the guy would have been severly punished.

"So you're saying if someone gives you something, even if it's a piece of crap , you should just smile and say "Thank You". Come on , give me a break"

Are you truly that stupid? Or are you just trying to provide entertainment as the village idiot around here?

Here's a basic social quiz for morons, see if you can pass:

Someone gives you a gift, and you don't like it. So you:

A: Tell them it's crap, and act like a pissy little schoolgirl in public about it.

B: Politely just say thanks, then go home and simply not use it, or even throw it away.

The correct answer is B. People do it every year at Xmas and other gift giving holidays. It's called being polite and civilised.

If you must criticize something that's free, then you do it in such a way that it doesn't come off as nasty and unappreciative. And you always have the simply choice of just not using it. It's free, it's not being forced on you.

I personally feel that it would be hypocritical to take it and say "Thank You" when you do not like it or appreciate it.

Then later when they ask if you are still using it or if you like it, what then ? Keep lying and say "Yes"

Isn't it better to say, "No thank you, I wouldn't use it or don't like it" ? Oh well maybe that's just me. I guess it's easier to go through life lying and being hypocritical.

And once again I will point out how no-one here can reply to a post without calling someone names or putting them down.

Looks like my point about immature posters here was correct.

... including yourself. Think about it, seriously, if you can ... your first post in this thread asked "are the coders all prima donnas?"

This is a perfect example of putting down someone, and then you continued, calling us names by insinuating we are children. Brilliant.

Since when is asking a question the same as making a blatant statement ?

Seriously this is like 4th grade stuff. Here's an example : Are all cows brown ? Now did I say that all cows are brown ?

Ahhh you begin to understand grasshopper.

I'd respond to you in a more civil manner, if it weren't for these condescending remarks man.

Seriously, you talk down to people and disquise it as a rhetorical question. Thus, you come off as a pompous ass.

... and you're still not ignoring me ...

Funny how you can tell the manner in which I talk to people from the words I use. <_<

And my remarks are condescending . Just take a look at the remarks from other people especially you. Let's see.

"jackass"
"prick"
"pompous ass"
"moron"
"stupid"
"asshole"
"jerkoff"

Yep, I'm the condescending one here.

Checklist:

"Or how about this, why don't people grow up ?

If you can't take criticism don't ever do anything, or leave the house.

Are programers such prima donnas that if someone says something negative about their work, they go sulking back home ?"

"Apparently this forum is full of underage people."

"Boy, oh boy. Do they even teach people to read with comprehension anymore in school ?"

"But then again , what should someone expect from a Forum ? Intelligent conversation and replies ? I guess not."

"But on a forum they'll shoot their mouth off like a 12 year old punk standing beside their Mommy."

... all examples of condescending remarks. Mine were outright insults.

... I'll let you respond, so you can get in the last word, seeing as it's important to you, then I'm going to ignore you from hence forth (gee .. I wonder how someone can run a business and still have time to argue pointlessly on a message board)

P.S. I love you. :p

And yet I never once directly insulted anyone. Clever , huh ?

But apparently some comments hit a little to close to home. :p

And I would say, " I love You " back, but that would probably be misquoted also.

You don't have to spend a lot of time running businesses once you hire people to do it for you. People that respect and like you because you can take criticism without quitting.

Dude, give it a rest yeah. The point here is this if you find a problem with someones free software and feel the need to say something, have some class and give CONSTRUCTIVE ideas or polite advice, that would HELP out. If you feel the need to bash someone's work and be an asshole, instead just STFU and delete it off of your SMC, and not ruin it for those of us that actually appreciate the effort.

I used Fgen for a while, but didnt really fund many games that i liked.

Does DrMD have saves, as in ingame saves?

Because i wouldnt want to use an emulator that you can't save on!

Keep at it Reesy!

Reesy is close to getting this emulator perfect.

It just needs savestates and some regional fixes.

The automatic region feature doesn't always work, for example, sonic spinball.

But besides from those two things, keep going!

Really nice emu :) Just wish it wouldn't reset if you dare press select while in menu
I tend to pause by entering the menu in emus and then hold select to turn off the backlight when I get a call at work ;)
I'm pretty sure reesy said he was gonna put in a more extensive menu anyway though, so it may be changed.
