I had been waiting for gbax to get the per orders up but almost £140 with postage is way over the top.

While i have never had any problems in the past people have been saying importmadness are not customs friendly. On the plus side it is only £99.99 with free postage.

Two DS's, two Mario 64 DS's coming from Importmadness. And they will be marked down. Came to about £145 each, including fedex to the UK etc. I hear that GameStop are doing a deal with a DS and Mario 64 DS for £100, which is a great price. Don't hold me to that though.

£145 each???

Console at £100 + Mario at £21.99

Should be £121.99?

I'll get mine from EB ... but not until after Christmas ... I'm holding out for Animal Crossing DS :D

Plus you pay around 8 quid for the airmail (then you get Fed-Ex free with that) and then theres the credit card charges for converting into dollars.

i pre ordered 2 from lik-sang months ago and today they asked to comfirm the order. So i got 2 ds`s 1 maro and 1 uk supply for about £230. But im sure i will get caught with the customs charges as its dhl im using. I think i will sell one on ebay :D

well, Im not gettin one, but I might pick up a GBA SP eventually for cheap and get a 512Mb cartrige for it
but If I were, any local store
its nice to have a US first release, no matter what it is

Just ordered mine from GBAX as well... if importmadness is around £145, I think I can stretch to £166 ;)

I live in the US, but I was wondering if its still possible to get a DS on launch day. It doesn't seem possible now, but if anyone knows any stores or online sites...?

I can wait. There doesn't really seem to be anything really great for it at launch. I have played Mario 64 and beaten it, and no Metroid until next year so meh. I will get it when more interesting stuff is available.

I went for importmadness and it came out at

£129.98 all in for me thats for the console and Mario.

Goity not the fact i can't afford to get it from gbax (i would prefer to as they were great with my GP32) however i think that they maybe trying to make a fast buck due to shortages. Sorry if its not the case, but when i can get the same thing for over £30 less (thats another game) then i will choose the cheaper option. I would not have minded if it had been £10 or £15 but i think £30+ is a bit much.

If you pay with a credit card it will most likely come to around £145, trust me. Mine only came to about that price, then I was hit with credit card charges. Think it was £143.

just bought from GBAX
Likewise, have rung round a few UK importers and been quoted silly prices like £160 - £200 for just the console so I dont consider GBAX's prices to be unreasonable.

Customer service is always great with them if you have any problems as well.

All in all i'd say £138.99 with delivery is a bargain.

I been lurking on ebay emailing/warning buyers about the huge price difference (no one wants to see anyone riiped off), I was surprised that they were willing to pay £200 just for the console due to (and I quote) 'I cant be bothered'.
