Gpcinema Unsyncs With Fast Foward

I seem to have a constant problem with gpcinema and xvid movies where after fast fowarding a movie the sound is always way out of sync.

Just watching the movie the sync is fine.

I have watched several movies from gptheater where this doesn´t happen so is it something with xvid versus divx, or is it something else.

I have tried all the mhz speeds, I have used all the compliant software like virtualdub, xvid, and such.

Any help would be appreciated, as this is very annoying.

i think it's something with the keyframes. You need to put more keyframes when encoding the video.

Anyway, i never got it fixed, but someone said me that the reason of the unsynch.

Never happened to me with DivX, but hey - since I mostly watch anime (i.e. subbed) its possible a slight synch shift would be mostly invisible.

The same with me. I never tried Xvid, because DivX works fine and I never had a unsync problem when forwarding, etc with DivX.

I've never had that problem wityh xvid... it might be being corrupted by pc-link... use GP-DRIVE

Put the framerate to the value you want, BUT ONLY with "Convert to fps" in Video > Framerate, not with "Change to ... frames per second", otherwise you'll have this unsync. ;)

Not really a problem while watching, and I do use the settings in the config file from gp32eu.com
so, maybe its xvid?

I use the decimate by 2 option, and leave everything else as is.

Ive tried it on 4 different machines, and several different ways.

Movie is in sync until you fast foward, otherwise it is fine throughtout.

Love xvid, would be sad to give it up.
