hey anyone who has time,
I've just found out about this amazing piece of equipment recently and wanna get one but want the basic info first, such as;

are there different models or versions?
are there other similar products doing the same thing that i should look into?
what kinda place do i goto to aquire a GP32?
Just stuff like that, and anything else anyone thinks i should know.

I'll probs post here again once i got this info and own a GP32 to enquire about best emu and rom sites, etc. :D

Cheers! -TZ

Ok. Links to roms and rom sites are not allowed, youre asking for a banning. Its not that hard just use google.
Also the is a entire forum on this site divoted to a FAQ.

1:Theres 3 versions of the gp32 technically, Non Lit, Front Lit(FLU) and Back Lit(BLU)
2:Theres the zodiac which is like a more powerful version of the gp32
3: www.gbax.com is good if you are in the uk, they are more expensive but you get a very good service plus if you go for the 166mhz model it's guarenteed to overclock to 166mhz.

Also you arn't allowed to ask about rom sites at all here.

about the Zodiac. depending on what your going to use your GP32 for, it is much better than the Zodiac, if you want a game system for emulation, get the GP32, if you want palm stuff, then get the Zodiac.

But right now, even with the power of the Zodiac, i still believe that GP32 has the best stuff available.

Theres somthing thats due for release in october that completely blows the GP32 away. Its called a Gizmodo http://www.gizmondo.com/ if your interested.

It has GPRS Which is kinda like Wap for mobile phones (correct me if im wrong)
400Mhz processor (unclocked) which completely blows away the GP32's 200mhz which is almost fully overclocked and usually runs at around 133mhz.
It has a 64 bit graphics card and contains a 3d games engine. the screen is 320x240 px and contains full DivX support and a windows media player 9 to play all your movies on. This product is almost a mini-laptop and with these specs i don't think it'll be long before we see websites like this one springing up for it and making emulators and hacks that enhance the products features.
Oh and it has a digital camera. :D
But if your like me and has just splashed out on a GP32 then it looks like your stuck with it :( until you can save up £200 to get the Gizmodo lol :)

You forgot to mention about the Gizmondo's 2.8" screen size, which is smaller than the screen on a GBA...
