OH yes there is definatly an import duty charge, I am in the UK, bought my GP32 from them and had a nasty suprise 2 weeks later with a bill for over £20, if had know about the duty I would have bought from GBAx.com and gotten the BLU for the same price as I ended up spending on the FLU

Yes, there are import duty charges, and Lik-sang are required by customs to describe the contents of the package and the package value so you are charged the correct amount. However, sometimes they seem to get this value wrong after you email them a few questions and you end up not paying any import charges whatsoever :)

I bought two gp32 BLU's from Lik-sang, and never payed over £100 for either of them, including postage. Received them in about a week or so.

I'm in the UK also.

GP32 blu is 179 Euro's including taxes, they now ship from within Europe too.
Or just order from them the normal way, I didn't have to pay taxes because they labeled it as being something cheaper.

Anyway you are sure to pay duties only if you use DHL, UPS or any other
parcel post agency.

It's a really low posibility to pay for duties if you use Airmail, or GlobalPriority.

I have bought more than 10 times from lik-sang by Airmail / Global Priorities with no duties.

Anyway now they are shipping from europe store, also if you bought from Liksang HK at HK low prices, so this is the best choice.

What did you email them? & how did you get them for under 100?

Well, they were $179, and the exchange rate was high, so I payed something like £99 for them or something like that.

Hold on.... bank statement says £102.17, but that's the full cost, so includes shipping/etc.

As for what I emailed them, well, I just asked them to basically not include an invoice and to undervalue the parcel, but not in those exact words if you understand.

mate could you tell me what to write in the email you would be an ledge. Also did you use airmail to get it over to UK?
Thx NICo

I e-mail'ed lik-sang too about the import duties, they told me that I had to pay tax.
But when my gp32_console arrived I didn't had to pay tax at all. :D

btw. I live in the Netherlands, maybe it depends on the country

Im from Canada, and I had to pay just under $9 when it came, which is pretty good compared to what some packages from the US cost me, plus it came in 5 days ;)

yup, they told me they couldn't do it either, and then it came marked as $36 :)

chrisnic0: just tell them you don't want import duties and you wouldn't mind if they declared a lower value on the box. they'll decline your request for obvious reasons, but most likely slip up when writing on the box if you accept it anyway :)

oh yeah, I used global priority shipping - the $10 thing.
