Remember GP32 theatre from a while back? I took over it a while back along with a temporarily anonymous member of these boards (he's been pretty busy lately and hasn't been able to do anything lately) and redesigned the site into what I feel is a much more user-friendly interface. I also converted all of the moviepark videos (which was all but one) to work with GPCinema. Finally, as you would probably expect, more videos will be added, including a couple of NES commercials I found on the server that were never announced.

Check it out at http://www.doomportables.org/~gp32/

Hope you guys like it :)

i tried to play the animatrix episodes but i got a bios error on all of them

Yeah, I actually don't have a GP32 yet, so I can't test them yet. That should be fixed soon :)

The animatrix doesnt work.

Tried at different clockspeeds and on free and payed gpcinema (using gpcinema encodes from site)

They almost certainly either use the wrong audio frequency - has to be 22.5 or 11.25 khz, *not* 12, 24 or 48.

The other possibility is that the first couple of frames are corrupted. Just try re-encoding the vid skipping the first second or 5 :)

If you're looking for other stuff to encode, you could take a look at some of the stuff on Machinima.com or www.archive.org (quite a lot of stuff in the PD videos section).

Grats on bringing GP32 Theatre back :)

good idea was thinking of making a site myself called mobi theatre because i have a huge collection gp32 and symbian encoded movies, thought it would be frowned upon though

anyway if you need some help with your site i would be glad to help

EDIT: just realised you only host videos with no copyright  mmmh but what about anime? i got quite alot gp32 encoded anime

I'll try reencoding with other audio rates when I get back from work with those animatrix episodes. I just used the GP32.cfg file from GP32 eu, since that's the best I can do with me not having a GP32 yet.

Did you know that in the US all movies made before or during 1922 are public domain?
That includes many comedy shorts from Chaplin, Keaton, Lloyd, Arbuckle and other comedians!

So if somebody has a DVD of them, I guess it would be legal to put them on the website, right?
